[ music | Jimi Hendrix Experience: Hey Joe ]

Last Saturday, I got 4th place in a tournament. I lost the 3rd place spot by 2 points. On Thursday, I got bumped up to varsity because the 112 guy couldn't make it. I was in the last match of the evening and the team scores were Dulaney: 33, Eastern Tech: 33. If I won, the team won. If I lost, the team lost. Needless to say, I a bit nervous. Somehow, I won. 9-3. It was pretty awesome, and the team was pretty excited.

Merry Christmas, Happy, Hanuka, and Happy Kwanzaa to one and all

[ music | U2: Seconds ]

I know it's been a while, but I've been somewhat busy.

Today we got out of school 3 hours early because of a looming winter storm, so I got to ride the bus. I chugged a can of V8 in 8 seconds. Today we also got our PSAT Score Reports. I got a 56 in Critical Reading (better than 88% of sophomores in my school), 59 in Math (better than 89% of sophomores), and a 63 in Writing Skills (better than 94% of sophomores). It also said that I should consider art history, dramatic arts/theater, education, english, journalism, and creative writing as majors for college. Heh, me a teacher.

Last weekend was bitter sweet. I had a wrestling match on Saturday in which they bumped me up to varsity, so I got annihilated. Hope I do better this weekend in the JV tournament. In one match I got in kind of a head-butting fight with my opponent. In the one after that, the guy had me wrapped around his back in a cradle and I felt like I was gonna pass out. I rolled out of it 3 times, but after that, I couldn't go on. I even had to work the following day. But all that was worth the Several Species (Pink Floyd cover band) concert on the Friday night before. It was awesome.

So Aaron Wallace joined wrestling. I have to practice with him when John isn't there. I weigh 110 lbs. Aaron weighs about 125 lbs. The other day, we were practicing a move in which we have to pick up our opponent and take him down, so I had some trouble, but did pick him up. Then John came in. He weighs about 103 lbs. When I went to pick him up after Aaron, it was like "Oh my God, this is easy."

[ music | The Stooges: TV Eye ]

Bought 2 CD's today; the Germs: (MIA) The Complete Anthology and the Stooges: Fun House. Oh yeah, a week or two ago I bought Franz Ferdiand: You Could Have It So Much Better. Of course, they're all pretty kick ass. Found out about the Germs through reading Scar Tissue (Anthony Kiedis' autobiography), so I figured they'd be pretty good. And I should be getting a Rio Carbon in the mail by Wednesday. And Jeff, my brother and I bought a used Game Cube. It works perfectly, so you don't have to worry about bringing yours to my house anymore.

Interim Grades/Quiz [30 Sep 2005|03:47pm]
[ mood | happy ]
[ music | The Doors: Peace Frog ]

GT English: B
Creative Writing: B
Honors World History: A
Honors Geometry: A
Honors Chemistry: B
Honors Spanish 4: B
Gym: B

My chem teacher's right, these interim reports are starting to become bona-fide Report Cards. The last thing we need is 8 of those a year.

1 - Use your current initials and create a new name for yourself.
VKT- Viper "the Komodo" Tarajumara.

2 - If you were born outside of your era, when would you want to be born and why?
I'd like to be born in the early 50's so that I could be the age I am today in the 60's

3 - If you ran a store, what would you sell/have?
Books, DVD's, CD's, coffee, and muffins.

4 - What part in a movie would you love to play?
Second-fiddle of the main character.

5 - In your opinion, why do people suck?
People suck because people can't think, only react. People work in uniform. If people run, others run, too. People are too critical, and have only one opinion between themselves. A person, on the other hand, is completely opposite.

6 - If you had your own country what would you build on it?
A statue of Jim Morrison and a statue of Iggy Pop.

7 - What's the oldest article of clothing you own?
Red, short-sleeved checker shirt.

8 - What piece of furniture have you replaced the most?
I don't replace furniture. My parents replace chairs and sofas in the play room quite a bit.

9 - What instrument do you wish you could be more than great at?
Either drums or my own voice.

10 - Record, Tape or CD?
They're all great. Records are old and are the first things music was recorded on. You can record crazy shit on tapes. And CD's are portable and convenient. Discs in general are among the greatest inventions in the 20th century.

11 - What do you think would be the best concert ever, and why?
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction if they would reunite again, Beck, the Pixies, the Stooges, and Primus because all of them are still capable of playing excellent live shows.

12 - What is the best part of your favorite movie(s)?
The fight scene in Anchorman.

13 - What do you think is the most overrated candy ever?
All of them.

14 - If you were writing out your will, who would you give your music collection to?
First come, first serve. Whatever isn't taken, Record & Tape Traders can have.

15 - If you could only debate two topics the rest of your life, what would they be?
How bad margarine is and how stupid reality TV is.

16 - Out of your friends, who would you say you are most jealous of, artistically?
Eric. Amazing drummer.

17 - Most jealous of....intellectually?
Justin.

18 - What do you collect?
CD's.

19 - What is broken that you have, that you wish was fixed?;
My grandfather's old guitar. It probably can be fixed....hopefully.

20 - What do you do when you're home sick?
I dunno. Don't think I've ever felt that feeling. I'd guess that, if I'm able to, I'd just go home. If I couldn't, I'd just deal with it.

21 - Story behind your user name?
Jimi Hendrix song. I was listening to it when I made this. The 43's just kind of random.

23 - Line from the last post to someone?
No comprendo.

24 - A famous person you have met?
I don't get out much. The most famous person I've ever met is the front man for the Datsuns, Christian Datsun.

25 - Favourite way to waste time?
Watch MadTv, Comedy Central Presents, listen to music, write, or read.

26 - Last thing you bought yourself?
Blank, 90 minute tape. Before that was The Stooges; The Stooges and my Doors shirt.

[ music | Primus: Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers ]

Worked at the Zoo today. We had to plant about 350 herbs in this area near the elephant pin. But the dirt wasn't fertile and loaded with weeds, so we had to pick them all out and mix the dirt with fertilizer, which was primarily elephant shit. The job itself probably wasn't supposed to be difficult. But it was time consuming and was very hot out, which provided the illusion of difficulty.

Bought Iggy & the Stooges: Raw Power, Primus: Sailing the Seas of Cheese, the Doors: Strange Days, Jimi Hendrix Experience: Are You Experienced? and Pixies: Doolittle yesterday. I know Raw Power is great from listening to it at Andy's. And Are You Experienced? and Strange Days are by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the Doors, so that gives them a guarantee to be awesome. But I haven't heard much of Primus and the Pixies except for 30 second clips and what I'm listening to right now. Primus is pretty fucked up..... and pretty good. Guess I'll listen to the Pixies later. Andy listens to them though, so they should be good. Also bought MadTV Season 1 a couple weeks ago. A bunch of filler sketches, but also some MadTV classics.

[ music | U2: The Fly ]

Bought U2: Achtung Baby and Pearl Jam: Ten last night. They're both awesome. Actually, my grandmother bought them for me, so I'm grateful for that. Since my last entry, I've recieved quite a bit of money. 1st, my other grandmother gave me $50 dollars for a little work and I guess some spending money. 2nd, for helping my dad work a rental house three days, he gave me $20 for each day, ultimatly $60 from him. 3rd, the first mentioned grandmother gave me $10 a while ago for helping my mom clean out the attic. So I've got a little money.

I just find it funny that I did better on my Biology Final Exam, which I got an A on, than I did on my Band and Gym Final Exams, which were both B's.

Went to this giant open market today. Bought Jane's Addiction: Nothing's Shocking, Pearl Jam: Dissident (single), and this cool, black suit jacket with thin, white stripes. Overall money spent: $9. And yes, I did change my back ground.

Then Derek came over on Saturday. On Sunday my family went to a graduation party for two of my relatives that I'd never met. The place was pretty cool. It had this awesome spiral staircase that looked awesome when you stood in the center of it and looked up. Not much else has happened since. Jesus Christ, it's hot in here.

[ music | The Ramones: Carbona Not Glue ]

Today in Math, Homer Ansari and I each had a mental breakdown, or something. Like, last night, logarithms were as easy as anything, but today my teacher showed us some new variation. By the second example, we were cracking up and saying, "Dude, we're failing the Finals!"
"I know man! I have no idea what she's doing!"
"Why are we laughing, man?!"
"I dunno!"
I stopped laughing mostly during the last period, but all during the bus ride home until about 3:30, I was just cracked up, say for a few little moments of serenity.

Know what is a bad idea? Going outside in the cold rain for the better part of 20 minutes without a jacket. My arms were fuckn' blue, man! If only I had the common sense to go inside.....

I know it's a day late but oh well. Happy 54th Birthday, Joey Ramone. And Rest In Peace.

If i was a serial killer i would be Jack the Ripper.

Jack the Ripper, by far the most notorious killer of all time. What would drive a man to kill 5 prostitutes, surgically mutilate the bodies, then stop, to never be heard from again? Most of the murders were pretty much the same, the victim had her throat cut and her abdomen exposed, the intestines were placed over her right shoulder and sometimes a kidney or even the heart had been removed.

Jack the Ripper's murders are still unsolved.

Kill count: 5

[ music | The Griffins: All Cartoons Are Fuckin' Dicks ]

Today I got bored, so I decided to look through the house. I found my dad's old record collection. It has The Beatles: "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", The Doors: "Morrison Hotel" and "Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine", Jimi Hendrix: "Electric Lady Land" and "Axis: Bold as Love", Led Zeppelin: I, III, and IV, and other cool stuff. Saw "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" yesterday. It was kind of like a Seinfeld episode; it was entertaining, but didn't have much of a plot. And I got those Red Hot Chili Peppers CD's since my last post, and Jeff burned "Family Guy Live in Las Vegas" for me. Most of the tracks are pretty much hilarious, esspecially "All Cartoons Are Fuckn' Dicks".

[Peter]:On Monday I had drinks with Barney Rubble.
We hit a couple divey little bars.
We noticed there was quite a lovely lady
Sittin' at the table next to ours.

Now Barney, who was pretty friggin' wasted,
Got up and stumbled stumbled over with a groan.
He said, "Hey, just between us
My Neanderthalic penis
Is as massive as a Stegosaurus bone."

Chorus:
All cartoons
Are fuckn' dicks
They get their kicks
From being pricks
It's a quirk
We just can't fix
Cause all cartoons
Are fuckn' dicks

[Brian]: One day I met an ape of great charisma.
Magilla the Gorilla was his name.
He wore a little hat and matching bow-tie,
A fashion that has brought him great acclaim

I said, "What do you see as your career peak,
Of all your many flashy escapades?"
He said, "Well this is funky,
But you're looking at the monkey
Who's responsible for bringing you the AIDS."

Chorus

[Lois]: I had a conversation at a party
With famous rabbit hunter, Elmer Fudd.
He told me I just had to see his rifle,
And dropped it on the table with a 'thud'

I said to him, "It's quite a lovely firearm."
He told me his fiance likes it, too.
He said, "This may be corny,
But it really gets me horny
When I press it to her temple while we screw."

Chorus

[Chris]: On Friday night I went to get some candy,
Some soda and some chips and other stuff.
Along the way I passed a little alley
And there I saw that K-9 cop, McGruff

I said to him, "Hey, you're that famous crime dog!"
He said, "I only work from 9 to 5,
And now it's close to ten-ish
And I've got a job to finish
Cause, as you can see, this hooker's still alive."

Chorus

[Stewie]: One day, while I was strolling through the forest,
I happened on some mushroom-covered turf.
And there from underneath a patch of fungus
Emerged the one and only Papa Smurf.

He said, "This is our Secret Mushroom Village."
I said, "Then I'm the first to see these views?"
He said, "I'm only kiddin'
'Cause we only keep it hidden
From the Asians, Arabs, faggots, Blacks, and Jews."

Chorus

[Meg]: One day I met a......
[Peter]: Holy crap, look who's here, it's Jason Alexander!
[Meg]: But I was suppoed to go next....
[Lois]: Quiet, honey. Mr. Alexander wants to talk.

[Jason]: I once met Scooby Doo at a premier bash.
He looked a little haggard, and he stunk.
He said the trouble started last December
When Daphne made a pass while she was drunk.

And now he's got a child outta wed-lock
It's dealing his career a fatal blow
I asked him, "Where's the baby?"
He said, "Jason, buddy, maybe
Now you see why fuckin' Scrappy's gotta go."

Chorus

There were also little parts where the characters talked in between verses about the previous one, but I'm too lazy to listen carefully and get it down.

What's it been, 14 days since my last post? Might as well find something to type about. Hopefully by Satursay or Sunday I'll have the Red Hot Chili Peppers' self-title debut, thus completing my Red Hot Chili Peppers collection of their major studio releases. In addition, I'm expecting Out in L.A., which has some B-Sides, live performances, and their entire demo tape. And the bast part is, Out in L.A. only cost $3.54, shipping charge and all. I'm a little skepticle, though, because last time I tried ordering their S/T Debut, it couldn't go through for some unexplicable reason. I'm gonna be so extremely pissed if it doesn't get here for the second time in a row. 4/20 in two days.

I guess I'll post since it's been a while since I last did. I got rid of the two dead baby communities since my friends page consisted mostly of them. So Eiken, it's now safe to look at my friends page without the urge to vomit. My U.S. Gov. teacher, Ms. Piccinini, gave us a packet to do for Spring Break, claiming that everyone else is getting them from their teachers or something. Damn liar. No one I asked that doesn't have her isn't getting work for break. Since my last post, I've bought Nirvana: Nevermind and MTV Unplugged in NY, Stevie Wonder: The Definitive Collection, The Ramones: Road to Ruin, Fear:The Record, and the Kurt Cobain "Teenage" shirt. I told myself I was only gonna buy a Nirvana shirt if it featured all three members and not just Kurt Cobain, but I guess I lied.

"I'm sorry, Coop. Last night was romantic and I love you and all, but I don't want to worry about that stuff until I'm ready to get married. I'm 16 and all I plan on is sex. With Andy in particular and not you. I don't care that he's kinda lame and cheats on me. I just want lots of sex with Andy and not you. See ya."
-Approximately what Katie says at the end of "Wet Hot American Summer" to Coop, the main character. That is the best ending to a movie ever.
